Just thought I'd share this - I picked up a small telescoping mirror somewhere, and it's been very helpful on occaison when I wanted to locate a snake that was hiding behind some part of its enclosure. It's certainly a lot easier than trying to feel around with my hand. I imagine you'd really want one of these if you keep venomous or otherwise agressive snakes in larger enclosures. Sears sells one for $10.
