Hello,
I have managed to work out how to upload a photo now. This is one of my male Moroccan Uromastyx. He has clubfeet. He had the problem when I bought him, but I bought him as he was not being cared for properly.
Does anyone know what causes it?

It could be calcium deposits due to early MBD. I have a female ornate that had MBD as a juvie (I just got her) and she has hard lumps on the joints of her legs. This is caused by the lack of calcium in the diet so the body sends the calcium to joints that would otherwise collapse to make the joint stronger. I don't know if this is the case or if your guy was possibly born with the deformity? How is he doing? When I got my girl they said she hardly moved around and never climbed. Well, she is running around now and climbs to the highest spot in her cage. Maybe she likes her new digs! Good luck with yours, hope he does ok with his problem.

Thank-you for your reply. The Uro is doing fine. He is running about (though, not as fast as the others), and he is eating properly.
Is it possible that your Uro has Gout?
The photos are familiar to another Uro that had the illness.
