This is a small twice-yearly captive-bred show of ~20 local herpetoculturists that was started by several WI Herpetological Society members in 2003. It seems to attract an affluent crowd willing to spend money and the vendor line-up has remained fairly consistent since the start due to good sales reported by many vendors, as evidenced by comments made by some of the vendors:
At the April show, Jim Stelpflug of Southwest Wisconsin Reptiles described his sales as "incredible! At the November 2004 show, he stated that he would never leave a show early again, because he sold over $1500 during the last hour. At the April show, Garrick DeMeyer of Crested Gecko stated that "I did better today than in the two days at Tinley Park last fall".
Vendor space is limited, but space will be made for quality vendors offering underrepresented species (please, no N.A. colubrids, geckos, or bearded dragons).
