I found a mulberry tree

i found a mulberry tree on the other side of a lake i live on.

im in indiana and i didnt look at the trees leaves too hard but do you think there are silkies on it?....I am going to look but just want to now if they live in northern indiana.....

also anyone see us on the news....it flooded bad here.

If I remember correctly, silkworms are not found in the wild anymore. So, no, you won't find any in any Mulberry tree you check. Considering that the moths are flightless, they would be easy picky to any local birds if someone even put the worms out there and the lived to cacoon.

I live in Ft. Wayne. I am also looking for some close mulberry leaves. I snatched some from the tree at Home Depot until it was sold at $80 for a 4ft tree. eh, no thanks. But anyways, I'm lookin too...
