Coloration seems to be a pretty good indicator with the occasional exception. My males are bright in color, highly saturated, whiel the females are all dull and desaturated. A marbled belly has been argued as a clear indicator of a male and a white belly a female, but one of my males does have a white belly (sold as a female) so I'd keep an open mind in that department.
Physically, the males have had wider more triangular heads with more "stuff" going on in the cheeks. Pores are a little different with males a little more substantial, but these are relative things and also variable.
