I lived in Daytona for MANY years and never knew about the show.
This was the first of many I will attend.
A few things I learned...
You will never have enough money when you go, doesn't matter how much you bring, it will get spent.
American Airlines does not accept ANY animals except dogs and cats.
Make shipping arrangements BEFORE you go.
You will never have enough batteries for your digital camera no matter how many you bring. I burned through 30 in no time.
Next year I will be much more prepared. I'm going to try to see every vendor before the doors open on the first day to get shots of every one of the best animals and make some sort of totally comprehensive show review.
I saw your Jungle Carpets at the show they were amazing, and not being able to take pictures of them is a huge loss for me especially after all the money I spent to see them.
Next year's gonna be different, I'm getting shots of everything. Really good shots, and interviews with everyone there.
I am so suprised that animal planet doesn't do a special on that event. There were so many cool things I saw there. Heck, they even had baby nile crocodiles there !
Saturday was crushing, you couldn't even move in there, and I wanted to take time to talk to guys like you and Will Leary very badly. But there were so many people it was hard to get a word in.
Maybe next time I'll get all the killer photos and then do interviews on Sunday afternoon when it isn't so buisy.
