(see letter below as well)

Kim,

Helping Dill with her shed is fine. You should soak her before and after. If you feel resistence-stop and try again tomorrow. Is Dill able to climb with that one finger?

Sincerely,
Brian

Hi Brian...

The weather has been hot and humid...with the exception of yesterday, when it was really quite cool!

About Dill...

She never attempts to climb. She will pull herself up on top of her hide, and she will use the temperature gage as a step, and climb into her pothos plants...but she never attempts to climb up on the log in her enclosure. If I put her on it, she will shimmy up it, sit there for a brief minute, and then scoots back down.

I'll have to figure out a way to keep the incline fairly low on any logs/branches I put in her new enclosure. I'm worried she's going to get stuck down on the bottom of it, and be even lower than she is in her current enclosure.

I think I might take a picture of her other hand too...so you can get a look at that one toe, that is there, but is useless to her.

She sure likes her food though Brian...and she's quite lazy...so she's getting chubby!
Is it typical for PTS to not like apples and bananas? If I put ANY of either of those even close to her food...she won't touch it! Maybe I should offer her that more often if she starts getting TOO chubby!?

Talk to you soon Brian...

Kim,

Corucia do like apples but it seems to be true they don't care for bananas. I didn't realize she had only 1 toe on each front foot! If you want me to continue to look into a double prosthesis for Dill, I'll see what I can come up with. It should be Aluminum about the same thickness as a parrot band. By all means-post the other foot. You say on that foot-Dill can't use that remaining finger at all? I'm glad she has you to provide for.

Take care,
Brian
