Here's a pic of our 12 year old son with our 18 foot albino granite burmese. Enjoy

Here's our oldest son Cole, hamming it up for the camera with Checkers, one of our adult female albino granite burmese. Like all of our burmese, Checkers is very easy going and docile.

Hey B..err David,

Do you have any pictures of her next to a dollar bill by chance? (A real sized one, not one of those miniature's!)

While we always try to find the time to respond to any questions we get we don't have a wealth of time to take specific pictures on request.

Thank you.

Oh, I understand! You can use the miniature one's if you'd like, I just thought a regular sized would be better. A breeder of your kind must be extremely busy, do you still have all of those Gators? I imagine 30 Alligators would take up a lot of a guys time!

Cause at 6 years old and that large (not to mention she looks obese) it looks like she was. Thats sad.

Not at all. The people we bought this female from 4 years ago kept detailed records. She was only 4 feet at one year old and about 7 feet at her second year when we got her. We never fed her more than a decent sized meal every two weeks and over the following 4 years she put on only between two and two and a half feet per year. This is actually fairly average growth for a female burmese. As far as obesity is concerned, she is not this either. At this time of year, just prior to breeding her we do feed her a little more than usual in order to build up some extra fat for optimum egg development. If she were not slotted to be bred she would not be fed as much. After egg laying all these fat cells are used up and gone.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. After the hurricane hit our state we have been too busy to frequent any forums. We were fortunate that the brunt of the storm slipped past us slightly to the East and we had minimal damage. But we have many family members and dear friends that were not so lucky. We have been preoccupied with helping as much as is possible to get their lives back to normal. Feel free to email us as we check this daily on our phones.
