Bearded Dragon - Show Pricing Advice

gotdragons Aug 24, 2005 09:47 AM

Does anyone have any suggestions on what current show prices for Bearded Dragons are? I will be selling 9wk old yellow morph babies, at Northern Virginia Reptile Expo. I normally sell locally to individuals for $75ea. I have never been a vendor at a show before, but since I have 76 babies I thought selling at a show might be easier. I would like to sell them at prices that insure the majority of them find good homes. Also, I have 4 babies that have part of the tail missing, what pricing would you give them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it really depends on what price you are willing to sell them for. If they really show alot of yellow, or if only some do, sell them for $75, sell ones that have little to no yellow much less, or sell them all for $40-$50 each.

The ones with tail nips should be less, to encourage people to buy them. Though tail nips don't have any long term affect to the dragon, it's just aesthetic apeal.
