I have an adult female leopard gecko,That I have had for well over a year now. She is housed whith another female and a male She has always appeared healthy. I found her with her tongue sticking out of her mouth this morning, while I was doing my routine inspection on everyone. I have nearly 50 leopard geckos and everyone else seems perfectly fine. So I'm assuming its not enviromental or a viral issue. She actually appeared to be biting douwn on her tonge. I could not get her to open her mouth. Her jaws appeared to be locked. I massage her lower jaw under warm water for a while and finally manged to get her to open her mouth. But che was unable to retract her tongue. I simply tucked her over extended tongue back in her mouth and closed it. Has anyone ever encounterd a problem like ths before?
any help would be appreciated
