OUCH!!!! HOLY.....OUCH!!!
Those heat pits would lead me to think it's some sort of tree python or boa....but the coloration isn't typical. I have no idea. But damn, that looks like it hurts if that snake has the fangs of a tree python.

This picture was posted in the Boa forum and I agree with two of the people in that one that it's a scrub python. It's a little too dark to be a coastal carpet. A coastal would have a bigger color contrast than this snake.
