WC Goini (from a Tallahassee petstore)

BlueKing Aug 24, 2005 05:58 PM

Here's a male goini brought in by a possible collector who needed some extra cash. I got this awesome looking young 3.5 foot male from John Hays who got it from the petstore a while back!

Hey SEAN: I'm sorry I missed you at Daytona - When Nick came by Saturday to bring me his Kingsnake he said that you were there! I also stopped off at Tallahassee, but only for a brief visit with John. I will have to catch up with you maybe next spring.

He's a beauty Zee. How large is that male? Glad you had an excellent time at Daytona. That 05 yellow/orange goini you picked up is very nice. I buy enough snakes online. God knows how many I'd come back with going to Daytona.

Thanks Steve. The male is currently 3.5 foot long.
Oh yes Daytona. . . such a tempting place. . .Can't believe I had enough discipline to only pick up one snake!!!
Here's a pic of his girfriend for next year: A 03' F-1 Krysko animal that I got from Peter Jolles:

Zee, Any idea when/what part of the forest that one came from? It's a nice looking specimen.

Were you wearing a white T-shirt? I was with Lindsay Pike on the way to Chris Raden's table when Lindsay stopped and talked with Nick and someone else. I didn't know it was Nick at the time until I ran into him later.

Thanks Sean! I was wearing a black t-shirt with a large Diamondback rattlesnake on it that wrapped all the way around to the back of the shirt. My 12 year old son was with me (most of the time) and had the same shirt on. It was Nick that told me that you were there and possibly looking for me.
That goini was probably found by a local "low-budget" collector who was only interested in the money; So according to John the pet store didn't know (and probably didn't care to ask) about locality data. . . He is an awesome looking specimen though!
