Found baby lizard in Northeast Texas...

skittles673 Aug 24, 2005 08:55 PM

Hey everyone! I'm glad that forums are here for those of us who don't know our lizard species very well!

It is definatly a baby (can still see the reddishness of the internal organs) and is about the length of a baby's pinky finger from its nose to its tail.

It has dark brown stripes on its tail, and "splotches" of lighter brown on its body and head. Its eyes are fairly big (to me, looks like each is the size of its brain) and has 5 toes (does that make a difference?).

Again, it was found in my laundry room in Northeast Texas (at 8:00 PM).

Please reply with the species (and possibly food info!)

Do you have a picture? That would help for identification...
