Chameleon making noise...

cammyleon Aug 25, 2005 09:22 AM

My Female Veiled Chameleon is about 6-7 months old and I have noticed when she wakes up in the morning that she makes a "cough" or "sneezing" type of noise. She only does it about once or twice in the morning. I was just wondering if that was normal? If someone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Hmmm, my veileds have never made noise...well, except hissing of course. It really doesn't sound "normal" to me. May well be indicative of an upper respiratory ailment.

When my chameleon's nose has dust in it or it is irritating, he will make like a snuffing noise or more like a snezzing. That's all I think it would be, if she eats the same and is just as active then I wouldn't worry to much.
