Hey, I was wondering if you would use normal lightbulbs that you get from Wal-Mart or something like that. If I can use them, what wattage should I use for my 2 leopard geckos?
Thanks,
DragonTamer

I use normal light bulbs for my bearded dragons for heat but these bulbs might be too bright for geckos since they are nocturnal. Are you using these bulbs just for heat purpose or are you trying to give them a night and day cycle? Might consider a UTH with a rheostat if it's for heat instead of a bulb but if you must use a bulb depends on how big you enclosure is, I'd say between 40-60 watts.
