can i keep one beardie in a 20 gallon long?
Not for it's entire lifetime that's for sure.
When its really young you can keep it in a 20 long but the cheapest way to do it is to get a 50 long and section it off as the baby grows so you don't have a ton of tanks around that you're not using.
Yes you can but only for a short amount of time , if it becomes full grown i would sujest a 50 gal breeder tank , it will give it more space to move around. i would say u could keep a beared thats any where from 1 month old till there about a year , depending on the growth rate
No. 40 gallon is the minimum for a single full grown beardie.
I would kept a adult beardie in nothing less that a 48X18X17" [about 65gal] Bigger is better and the more floor space the happier he will be.
a 20 gal with hold them for maybe a couple months.
