What should the humidity be?

katie1120 Jul 17, 2003 07:34 PM

My snake is getting ready to shed, what should the humidity be in his tank and should i mist him and if so how often? Thank you for any help.

My opinion on this is, instead of misting, use a humid hide. Take a tupperware/rubbermaid container, cut a hole in the side of it, and put moist moss in there. I've done this with all my specie of snakes and have never gotten worse than a 2 piece shed.
