Where to most of you feed your bps?

I feed out side the cage. For one, it gives us quality time to check each other out. A good inspection to see that all is well with the snakes. The time it takes them to eat is plenty for me to clean cages. And there is no chance of ingesting substrate.
And, yes, I do house BPs togrther. (Shall we start a controversy here?) As long as I feed separately, there is never a problem with that. (And they love to be together!)

Besides that, I like to be with my snakes.

I used to feed in a separate container. Now, I feed in the same container. I have too many snakes to feed in a separate container. I have not noticed any difference in attitude. However, in the evening, a hungry snake will be on the prowl for food and could strike.

I feed outside the cage.
For two reasons:
- they can't swallow any substrate
- In the future I'm going to house them together (now the difference between them is too big (the female is almost 4 months and the male almost 2 years old) so they are separate) and don't want them to start on the same meal or anything like that. Therefore I already feed them outside the cage so they get used to it.
