Hi everyone! Just a few quick questions!!!

newturtlemom Aug 25, 2005 04:40 PM

Hi there,
I was wondering, what is the water temp supposed to be, I have read so many different things. I have been keeping it at 74 degrees. My turtles (2 RES) are not babies anymore, they are almost 3 years old (in January). Also, I just cleaned out my tank and there was an excess amount of green stuff... is that algae? And is it harmful to the turtles? It seemed to have been on places that light hit directly. Thanks for any information!
Jodi

74 degrees is fine. Algae looks horrible but does not harm
your turtle
