Ok, I tried, but my camera will not take a close pic of the vent w/o going all blurry. I took some video that turned out ok, but I can't figure out how to attach it here. So I will just tell you that one goes from vent to tail with nothing in between, and the other has a small gap between the vent and tail with what looks like 2 lumps under the extra rows of scales. I'm pretty sure he's a male, but confrimation would be nice. Also, just out of curiosity, when is the end of the mating season for these SHL's? Thanks!

Sherry

P.S. Even if they are both females, I have plenty of room and will keep them both! Thanks for the advice!

Sounds like a male and female, the male has hemi-penal bilge from their mating organs, also the male will have pronoiunced pores across the underside of the legs and the female will have very small pores across hers. It is late in the sason, and wouuld doubt they would mate at all. were these captured under a license or a permit? What state are you in?
