3/4 Diamonds

Jeff Clark Aug 25, 2005 06:00 PM

....This is one of my female 3/4 Diamond Pythons.

I have a sibling female of this snake that is more white than yellow. I have been looking in the classifieds and the breeders and dealers listed here on kingsnake and cannot find a suitable male for these girls.

Jeff,

Check out Ectotherms.net (link below). I believe he has a few male yearlings available. As yearlings, they don't look as nice, but at age two, the yellow tipping comes in and well, take a look for yourself...Here's one of my Python Pete line 75% Diamonds produced by him.

Anthony,
....Thanks for posting the PIC of that great looking snake. Looks like they might have what I need at Ectothermics.

The 75%DxJ are my favorite pythons, I have a three year old male and female. I am thinking they will be ready to breed by this spring (06'). I am not interested in selling them, but if you live near my area we might want to let them have at it. I live in Madison, WI. Here is a picture of my male.

Terrapene,
...That is an incredibly beautiful snake. If I lived closer I would want to take you up on the offer. I went ahead and ordered one of Will Bird's yearling males. I actually have a male 50% Diamond that was hatched here but all these 75% Diamonds are so pretty that I decided I need a male 75% for my two females.
Thanks,
Jeff

...Big thanks to everyone for pointing me towards Will Bird and his Extraordinary Ectotherms 75% Diamonds. I ordered from Will and the yearling arrived today. A very clean snake and he looks like he will turn out very pretty in another year. Will and I both had tables at the Daytona Expo but I was just too busy with my table and trying to see "everything" that I somehow missed seeing his 75% Diamonds at the show.

...I should probably clarify. This snake is already beautiful but like all Diamond Pythons and crosses and most of the carpets they go through a big ontogentic change over the first few years. Right out of the egg most are very plain and slowly become very pretty over the first 2 or 3 years.

Thanks for the post! You are correct! That snake will continue to change for at least two more years. Enjoy!
I am a bit concerned because while I was at Daytona, I did not have a table. Let's get to the bottom of this confusion! Will Bird
