Yeah My bearded dragon's throw has turned black! It wasn't black this morning when I feed him. But now it is. What's wrong?

people really have to do research before u buy ur reptiles. the black throat thing is nothing it just a sighn that hes mad and dont bother him or a sighn that he wants to breed. other than that hes fine.

Since the above message was not helpful and rather poorly written, I will clarify. (I have also included a picture of my beardie extending his beard when startled)
Your beardie will extend their beard when they are upset, startled or in the presence of another dragon. It will turn black occassionally. You shouldnt be alarmed. It is completely normal. I really think that you should get a book on beardies so that you better understand how to care for them. A great book that I would suggest is The Bearded Dragon Manual by Philippe de Vosjoli. It will give you great insight into care and behavior. You should be able to get the book at your local petsmart/petco if you are in the US, or online at Amazon.com. Get it.
