pics of my adults and offspring

umop_apisdn Aug 25, 2005 10:12 PM

well, i guess it's about time i show some of my cresteds, i almost feel guilty for talking so much more about my leaftails all the time, it's almost like i dont even have these guys, even though they've been real good to me. so here they are. unfortunately no one was really colored up at the time.

first the laying females.

the first is my huge female i got from LLReptile. she's been laying huge eggs for me and does great. she's around 3.5 years old.

the 2nd is one i got from a pet shop. she is now 2.5 years old

the 3rd is one of my favorites, a real spunky yellow flame that just recently started laying eggs from me. so far ive gotten a pair of tigers and a pair of what look like they'll be yellow flames like mom here. not sure of age.

now on to my male, who so far has sired all of my crested offspring. he does his job, and does it well. got him from a reptile show from ben siegel. hard to believe it but sometimes when he's colored up he gets extremely dark.

and now just a bunch of offspring. one is a real eye catcher, at least when he's colored up. he was actually my first ever hatchling, and i consider it to be the most promising of them all still. lots of flames, some harlies, and every now and then i get some with a lil bit of pinstriping.

enjoy

dont know exactly why the pics didnt show up for all but one, but let me try this again, this time without the explanation, but still in the order they were "supposed" to appear.

Good looking group! I like really like the male with the white crests on the back of his head. It is like he is sporting a mullet Thanks for the pictures.
