Hi all!

can any of you tell me anything about therm and the UVB bulbs they have that cost about half what the other brands cost?

I just emailed them and asked and the reply was ... well let's just say it was not nice.
(like I was asking for top secret data)

they can't say where the bulbs come from. do they *REALLY* make them? I just find that hard to belive as this kind of manufacturing is not simple.

I have heard some good things but.... how can they be sooo cheap compared to the ZooMed and ActiveHeat brands?

any comments or insight good or bad ?

thanks!

yes they're good bulbs. I've had 2 of 7 blow out (one never worked and one died after a couple of months). They're very good about replacing defective merchandise... and they almost always ship the same day you order.

If they are rude why buy from them. I found the best price for Zoo-Med Powersun bulbs at www.reptiledirect.com, actually beats their prices. 33.95 for a 100 watt powersun. They offer a great warrenty too.

I have used the Active UVheat ones and the PowerSuns, which we buy for not double but about $10 more than the Capture the Sun ones.

I plan on trying them, just have not done it yet.

We were at a friends house when she checked with a UVB meter the output and they were all comparable to each other, but I thought the Active UBheat was a bit brighter
