Hey everyone my names trev and I live near vancouver BC in CANADA
A bout a month ago me and my girlfriend got some FBT’s and a cuban tree frog and soon have a really big reptile terrarium coming so we where hoping that the frogs would mate, we have 7 of them in one 20 gal , well set up, either way for the last week or so 2 pairs of (2) have been holding eachother and making the usual mating noises so I wanted to make the conditions right in the tank. last night all we could hear them going at it like never before there wasnt a moment that was silent, but I still didnt think the conditions where right for them to lay eggs. Today I went to the petstore and decided I was tired of going every second day to get crickets so I get a 10 gal for 13$ with screen lid and a box of 1000 crix at 5 weeks old for 26$ I was going to leave when somthing caught my eye, a fogger from exo terra, I have been having a problem with keeping the humidity up so I thought it be perfect . I got home and set it all up and the frogs seemed to love it . So I left for the day running around and when I got home (with 2 new cuban tree frogs too) I had to spend alot of time chasing them around because the bolth jumped right out of the temperary housing they came in, I got them in and fed bolth cages and then noticed that it was completely silent , witch was weird considering the last few nights and there was a thick haze above the water from the fogger when somthing caught my eye. In and instant I was happy and sad at the same time because the filter was on and I bet a bunch of the eggs must have got sucked up, either way I shut off the filter and the fogger and began to scoop up the eggs that where there into a temp housing cage with some water using a ice cream scoop. now they are sitting in there I think 60 or so in total and I still have left the filter off but the fogger on incase they lay more eggs, WHAT NOW!?
