hi,

I have just got a iguana, i think he is about 6 months old i was just wondering how i can get him used to me, i have held him, but he seems to feel threated he puts his back up and has whipped me with his tail twice, i want it to get used to me but i dont that much about him really! Also what sort of foods do they prefer i have given him like mixed salads and tomatoes, which he aint keen it.he has had some fruit strawberries, i think i'm just being paranoid and making sure he eats....

Well, your feeding him mixed salad and tomatoes? that doesnt sound correct. he needs dark leafy greens. go to www.anapsid.org
