Small Litter

Jeff Clark Aug 26, 2005 11:00 AM

...I got up this morning and found that I had more baby BRBs. An old female that I did not realize was gravid had laid 5 live ones and some slugs. She had eaten fairly regularly over the last months and is large enough that this small litter did not show. It is a strange late year for my snakes. I still have lots of BRBs that are definitely gravid and due VERY soon. I am almost certain my Peruvian Rainbows are not gravid but they are big snakes and so I cannot be sure. The two Campina Grande females are definitely gravid.

Five is better than none, especially since you didn't even know this one was gravid. Glad to hear someone else is having some babies.
