Daytona wrecking crew, Lassiter, Nelson, Stevens and Brown

Nokturnel Tom Aug 26, 2005 02:03 PM

Having a good ol time at the Hilton. John Lassiter, Jason Nelson, myself and Shannon Brown. Man we had a blast. Rainer was running around at the time of this pic. Many other friends were partying that night,,,,if you wonder if Daytona is worth the time money and effort to get there....hell yes it is! Tom Stevens

No doubt I could easily hang out with that crew, I know you all had an absolute blast! I'll see y'all down there someday for sure. Been a number of years since I visited Daytona and would love to get back there, especially for a major herp event to meet a bunch of good 'ol boys like you guys. My only time there was on a New Year's Eve Florida party trip 'round about '79, nearly pickled myself on Bacardi 151 bar hoppin' in Daytona and barely remember the place. Hell, I barely remember the drive from there over to Clearwater for the New Year's celebration... barely recall the places we hit while ringing in the new year in Clearwater... remember the babes though... don't remember the trip back up here to Illinois at all! I do remember the pier in Daytona and the beach... and that dude on the beach looks kinda familiar to me too for some strange reason.....

Quit drinkin' quite some time ago but I would proudly have a Heinie or two with ya! Thanks for sharing Tom, post more if you have 'em!

Interesting photo. Is that frozen/thawed that they're taking? Most of my herp friends won't take anything warmer than 40F.

You might have to blindfold them first to hide the color. But serve them better quality feed at 50degrees or so. They'll be happier and won't be as fat as they'll need to consume less of a quality product.

Unless they are the type of critters that think "skunk" is a desirable flavor, then I'd just put the whole crew in the freezer with their beer...I mean food.

Cheers!

I tell you what, next year you can come to Daytona make your comments to us. I mean if you have time to get off your Soloflex and and give us a lesson on fitness and the benefits of warm beverages. That pic was just to show some good friends having a good time. Now go back to your tea and biscuits and await the next meeting of the we're so special because we like brown beer club. Tom Stevens
