A true Georgia GIANT!!! Check this WC (Eastern King) monster out!

BlueKing Aug 26, 2005 07:49 PM

Here's a WC Eastern from Darien (a coastal town), Ga. I got him from John Hays (Aka Agalinis) last week. His head is BIGGER than Big John (my 77" Eastern King), but he's not as long. I put him next to a dollar bill for scale. (When I hold him, he feels like my big Eastern Indigo!)
Anyone got serpwidgets? Keith? I think he's around 5.5 foot long, about a foot shorter than Big John, but he eats MEDIUM rats with no problm!!!
Thanks for lookin'

Zee

Nice clean pattern too.

Hey I thought about you yesterday lol, after realizing my adult female eastern king(with the speckling) escaped, I thought "Crap now how am I gonna get those pics for Zee".

She was gone for probably 2 days. Made it down 2 floors, past a bunch of people without being seen. Found her in the backyard last night.

Guess I'll get those pics for you before she escapes again lol.

Actually, Keith might have some pics of her. Keith, if you see this post, do you have any pics of the female eastern king you sold me?

Kind of looks like one of my biggest...a 62 plus inch male from Wakulla Co., FL

Couldn't get him back into that deli cup for some reason.

BlueKing Aug 26, 2005 09:24 PM

Yes, but I like yours just as well. They DO look very much alike, except that your snake has a higher band count than this Darien male. Are you going to breed THAT guy next year? Or have you already bred him this year? (I just may be interested in a pair of his babies. . .) Thanks,

Zee

I attempted to breed him with his Wakulla Co. female but nothing happened this year. They bred the first year I had them and produced some nice offspring so I hope to be able to do it again. I'll let you know if anything happens next Spring.

YES, please do. I would really like a pair of those . . . Thanks!

Yeah, you're right. I sure hopes he gits' it done' one more time. . . Almost forgot to mention that he was found MORE than ten years ago (as far as I know). But he grew & grew & grew . . . He ate a medium rat in only 5 minutes earlier this evening!!!!!
Unbelievable!!!
