Well, my trip to Daytona turned out being an awesome vacation. My girlfriend and I almost cancelled our 6 day trip because it was supposed to rain every single day. We didn't see a drop, just perfect weather. Plus, Wed. morning we woke up at the Comfort Inn to cement drilling directly beneath us at 9:00 a.m. You literally couldn't hear the person next to you. After speaking to the general mgr. they agreed to move us to an ocean side room at the Holiday Inn for the same price. What a deal!
My girlfriend and I went swimming, miniature golfing, go-cart racing, boogy boarding, parasailing, and clubbin'. We also got a 50 min. deep tissue massage that was amazing. And that was all before the big show.
The Daytona show was awesome. Yes, there was a lot of ball pythons, but there was enough boas to keep me occupied for at least a year. Some favorites were Doug Mats' PASTEL DREAM SHARP SUNGLOW, Celia's HYPO JUNGLES, Tom Burke's LIPSTICK SUNGLOW and BLOODY SALMON, Rich Ihle's killer SALMONS, and many more. I felt like Augustus Gloop in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. I just didn't want to leave. I wish I could have met some of you, but I have no idea what you all look like, hopefully in 2006. A big thanks to Doug from Boabasement and John from Salmonbooa for their great service and beautiful animals. So here they are, my three new baby girls. The lighter one is "Scarlett Johanssen", from Rich Ihle. The really pastel one is "Missy Elliot", and the other is "Rosanne Barr". They are both from Doug M.
