Okay, here i go again!
I covered my once tree conk with a thin layer of silicon. Before I did that I would clean the tree conk "shavings" from my brom leaf (which is right under the conk) and in the morning there would be lots of shavings. Now once i added the thin layer of silicon i saw no shavings this morning.
How ever when i got home from work i notices a very sall ammount of shavings. So I took the silicon and covered the hole again (which is what im planning on doing every time I find a new hole). A little later I was setting there watching TV and I saw something fly in my tank. I took a paper towel picked it off the moss and killed it. im not sure if it was eating the conk, although it was the right size to fit in the holes. It was like a very small (about 1/8" long) bettle. It looked like a very small japanesse bettle that you would see in your garden or late summer.
When i first got my conks i notices one coming out of my large conk, which i have never seen any holes except for one, and i thought i killed it; could be wrong.
So, should i be worried about this? Or since they are flying around should my frogs take care of the problem once I get them?
