jurassic milk snake

whereisalice Aug 27, 2005 11:10 AM

I have an anerythristic jurassic milk snake that I just love. I got her a few months ago at a reptile show in Sarasota.
I was told that a jurassic milk is a cross between 2 different kinds of snake. Is this true? I have only ever seen one other than mine. Anyone know why they are so hard to find?
Thanks.

A jurassic is nothing more then a hybrid (mutt), should not even be called a milksnake. Produced from some type of milksnake bred to a kingsnake.

They don't have much of a following here on the milksnake forum. You would get better response on the hybrid forum.

Hope this helped

They are hard to find because they are a "hybrid" and there are not that many people that are interested in these created snakes. Purchasing these animals only helps to fuel the demand for mutts.
