Blaze Phase goini

bluerosy Aug 27, 2005 11:27 AM

This is the snake I picked up this weekend from Gulf Coast Teptiles for $25. It is a Blaze.

GCR told me the snake that ChritopherD got for $20. is a high red goini x lavender brooksi (aka het for lavender).

It seems that the hets from the GCR line of het lavenders turn out pretty nice as well.

Here is mine..

I don't know what the original price was. I explained in a thread that was deleted.
ChristopherD and I were at the GCR table at the Daytona Expo and he got a killer deal on a kinked tail high red (het lavender from the lav brooksi) that looks similar the one I posted. He got it for $20. because Sheila asked him what he wanted to pay for it. He said $20 and she said okay. I about dropped. So I started yammering on how come I never get a good deal and she said I can have the other one for $25. At the time I did not know they were not related and neither did she.

When I got home I asked her if thsi was the same thing as ChrisD's snake and she said Chris's snake definetly came from the het to het breeding of the het lavender X brooksi. She said that mine was a Blaze. I asked her how one can tell the difference and she said the balc areas are more of a brown than black. So it looks like I got a Blaze for $25.
