Before the hurricane skirted us, I added a few more hiding spots for her to lay. I placed in a large piece of wood and misted the entire half of her cage and then the power went out at 6 PM Thursday. She went under the wood and stayed there for the 24 hours we had no electricity and no lighting unfortunately - which made me sweat more than was necessary. Yesterday the power came back on at about 6 PM and I saw nothing so I left for herping and arrive home late to find her with these 14 eggs. She defended them well and when I opened her cage to take a photo of her with the eggs, she charge towards me, so I had to hook her and move her to the other side to lift the wood and get this photo. 14 big eggs. A friend said to incubate them like colubrid eggs in a moist environment and that is what I am doing. As of this morning, the eggs look good incubating.
