Hey, my Anole is VERY skinny. ~C}}}>>>====
Before I go on I'd like to say I was V-E-R-Y irresponsible with my lizard( just incase yall are wandering why he's so skinny :0() :0(

I know alot bout Anoles ect...but I still didn't feed him properly like I should have. I kept on forgetting bout putting powder on crix, n' stuff. But now it's diffrent, I really want to take care of him better.Okay so, anyways I was woundering if anyone knows what I can feed my lizard's crix that will get them real rich in fat. I've read that peanut butter gets 'em fat but, it's kinda messy and I've tried it bfore but
it get alot of stuff dirty in the crix cage. Also I was woundering if its okay to feed my lizard peach. I just gave him some ( I really didn't think he would eat it but tried it anyways) and he started licking it. HE LOVED IT! .

Also I have real plant in his cage( wich I read it's good to have) but I see these lill bugs crwaling around in there( and I JUST WASHED HIS CAGE!

that has some of the stuff anoles will eat. You can feed them just crickets and they will be ok, just bored. Crickets that can more and give chase will also excite the lizard and get him moving.
I don't like using the powder because it tends to kill the crickets. Petco sells an orange cube that you put in with the crickets that will feed the feeders. And it worked out quite well.
If you do a google search for anole you can find a few pages that talk about them, a lot of the info conflicts so generalize from there.
Having a proper cage setup is also important, lighting and hiding spots. all that can be found via the kingsnake link, or by using google.

Waxworms are good for fattening up skinny or malnourished Anoles. Silkworms are good as well.

I know super worms n' stuff a are fattening but EWWW!My anole when approached my a crix will not eat it.HE just closes his eyes so I shoVE him a little and he opens his eyes again and starts aiming toward the crix but after like 10 sec ( if he dosen't try to get the crix by then) he just closes his eyes againz and I have to shove him. THEN finally he'll eat the lill critter.>,< I highly DOUBT a slow moving worm will catch his attention enought to eat, plus my just thinking bout hairy worms makes my shivver *gets goosebumps*. I guess I shold try. WHAT SHOULD I DO THOUGH?!?! IT TAKE HIM SUCH A LONNNG TIME TO EAT THE CRIX.I WANT TO DO SOMETHING TO STIMULATE HIM. AHHHH!

Waxworms and sikworms are NOT hairy. In fact, caterpillars that are hairy or have spines and usually toxic or at least irritating and should NOT be fed to Anoles.

well, I dunno but I guess I'm going to have to try feedsing him a wax cuz he really needs the fat
