I just purchased a baby female Western Hognose Snake today (my first Hognose). I already have experience with Cornsnakes, Ratsnakes, Bullsnakes, Ball Pythons, etc.
1) I know that the females get a lot bigger than the males. What is a typical length for an adult female Western Hognose Snake?
2) How heavy bodied are they compared to a juvenile Corn Snake of the same length?
3) Can I safely put my Hognose together with my 3' Black Ratsnake for a while until I move my Black Ratsnake up into a larger cage (within 3 months from now)?
4) Can I safely put my Hognose together with my 15" baby Corns for a while?
5) Or do I have to keep my Hognose totally seperate from all other snakes?
I would appreciate any good advice that anyone in this forum may have to get my baby Western Hognose off to a good start in my collection.
