Question on ETB's temperment.

bigwizzkid Aug 27, 2005 10:35 PM

I own 3 cooks tree boas, as well as 2 ATB's. my question is if ETB's have a better temperment. My atb's are not as mean as my cooks, and only strike if being handled. My Cooks on the other hand, strike the second a hand enters their cage within strikeing range. My question is if the larger ETB has a better temperment. I think they are beautifull snakes, But im not in the market for something that will so redily strike and is 8 feet long. However if they are more docile I may look in to them. Thanks in advance.

If you have ATB's, you are in for a real treat!!! If I were to make a generalization about agression, Well...

Emeralds are a mellower snake, that is not to say they have their moods. They are not as rope like, their for they tend to have slower strikes and gives you a larger margin for error.
To be bold, I have a WC emerald named named jesus I can wear as a hat, and the best behaved WC amazon I have ever owned was name Hitler?

that about summs it up!

thanks
