Springtails possibly. Totally harmless, really annoying. What substrate(s) are in your cage and your humid hide?

These are springtails. As adults their only like 1/16th of an inch I think:

BUT: I wouldn't discount the idea that cricket eggs somehow travelled into your cage via other crickets. It could easily be a pinhead cricket. Have any of your crickets been able to chirp?

If it looks like a mini cricket, its probably not a mite.

Those are the bugs..
Springtails...
I never had any crickets that could chirp..
Dont crickets bite leos when they are sleeping..
I use moss, paper towels and bed a beast...
Moss and Bed a beast for humid hides and paper towels for substrate..

so spring tails do nothing???

Springtails hitch a ride in the moss/peat/bed-a-beast and decide you cage is a nice warm comfy place to live...

I'd remove the bedding they're in, clean the cage, and freeze or replace the bedding to get rid of them. They're essentially harmless but I wouldn't want them living with my geckos!! If they didn't hitch a ride in with the hide bedding, I'd seriously rethink your sanitation methods.

The reason I was asking about the crickets is that I'm sure cricket eggs could get stuck to the younger crickets you are feeding and hatch in your cage.

What state are you in?
