What do you look for when choosing females to breed to male spiders?

stevodod Aug 28, 2005 12:15 PM

Hey,

Have always heard you get the "best" results when you breed to "clean" females, but I'd like to see some examples of adult females bred to a spider male and the babies. Does "clean" mean reduced patterned or reduced speckling or what?

Thanks for any pics!

May God bless,

Steve & Laurie Harrison

This is, IMO, the best example of a "clean" pattern I have ever seen. Enjoy!

Hey Steve ,

To Me Clean is a female with light color , minimal alien pattern , and as little speckling as possible . I'm not saying you cannot produce nice Spiders from darker females , but you enhance your quality by using , "lighter " girls .Here's the female that produced some nice Spiders , and a picture of her offspring will follow . Good Luck ,
