What is the best "base" Morph

phishnuts Aug 28, 2005 02:31 PM

In that I mean, What morph is the most common factor out all morphs? Out of every known morph what is the most common morph used to create them?

There are different ways to look at it - pastels have been around longer and therefore more combos have been done with them and they are fairly cheap so everyone can play around with them - spiders are relatively new not too expensive and a lot of people are working with them - double het recessives are a long project - but the payout is awesome! If the average joe had the means to tie up his pinner or cinny with a combo then those would probably be pretty popular - this year we've seen the mojave, albinos and pieds do some interesting things and YBs have proven to be pretty versital - to say that there is one base morph - there really isn't - raise what you enjoy working with.

Come on , did you really think I'd say otherwise ? They have the most to offer . Every combination with Spiders turns out 70% Spider , 30% other morph....except the Cinnamon-Spider . The Cinnamon Pastel won the paint trade on that one , but it has "Spider Accents " . The slightly pied sides , and the faint light stripe down the dorsal , not to mention giving it a reddish/pink tone......simply stunning , SPIDERS ALL THE WAY .
