as i said before i dont know if your snake is a Canary for sure or not i do have a hunch...

That looks like a Sarong to me. But I don't know that much. I looked at the pictures that the other guy posted and those look like Canary's to me (or the one does) Very subdued markings on them and very bright yellow. I talked to Troy, and he pointed out that and Kafiau are illegally caught and imported and he wouldn't be handling anything like that. He insists that she's a domestic bred Sarong type and I believe him. He said quite a few of his wait until well over a year and then change over a 3 week to 3 month period. We shall see. She's just over the 1 year mark.

hey meg,how does it feel to have your little guy be the center of attention for the "CHONDROHEADS"?its really great to have these guys swoop in from the hall of justice with their spandex tights,capes and big CH'S printed on the front of their shirts,and settle all unresloved arguments.im wondering how one becomes a chondrohead?are they selfproclaimed or are they sworn in like the mafia.this reminds me of a saturday moring cartoon about this kid that kept running around telling everyone he was a superhero,when all he did was get into trouble and the superfriends had to rescue him.

Well, if only I needed rescue it would probably feel great! Anyway, it's a gal, not a guy....doesn't she look ladylike to you? I have no idea how one becomes a chondrohead.....perhaps it's time with chondros or whatever. I respect everyone's opinions especially when they have more experience than I do. I still will stick with the seller's experience, and go with what I was told until further notice.....Wow! I've never had anyone fight over me before!

so you did have her sexed?i dont know why,but i thought i remeber you saying you wanted to have her sexed.

I dont know about the chondroheads,but with the birdheads(guys into canary chondros)its kinda like a hazing.They run around naked with clothespins on their privates,tweeting like a canary while all the other chondroheads and birdheads pelt them with frozen mice.

i have read through them as well... you must have forgot to read a few...

i'm not looking to take this conversation any farther, time will tell on her snake... and if it ends up being a Sorong then ok, and if ends up being a canary then ok...
i was just stating my opinion, i was not trying to make myself sound smart, i think i have enough knowledge at this point that i could have a productive conversation with some of the REAL chondroheads...
however this is not a hairbrain idea, it was brought to my attention by a REAL chondrohead, it was just a simple discusion and i was just making an observation... their is little known about the canary locality...
time will tell... its only a matter of time...

thats fair enough.time will tell.considering how active meg is on these forums,im sure well be given an update if anything changes.hey meg,if she turns out to be a female,let me know.i have a great looking subadult sorong thats showing really nice potential.id love to do a nice sorong x sorong pairing,but just incase im wrong ,you better get that sucker wormed and fast..lol.

She has been sexed out as a female!! When she gets old enough and of course, large enough, you'll be the first I talk to....that is if I haven't already gotten a male of my own I will certainly let everyone know the minute she begins her color change. I'm as breathless and excited about it as everyone else. Seems to me, the best part of chondros is trying to figure out how they'll turn out!

Shiloh if your going to make a comment like that then post what you are referring to. I will say your continuing to bring this up about Megs snake is getting a bit old. Your entitled to your opinion but to keep stating it over and over again?? She bought the animal from someone she seems to trust and I sure can't see what the heck makes you think it's a Kafiau??? this just like the threads on Chondroweb about the canary's, a lot of talk no real proof.
