Here are a few informal pics of an aberrant pyro I collected from the Ritas a few weeks ago. Is anyone out there working with aberrant pyros?

Very Nice. I wish I was working with that one. Good Job on that one. Which side of the Ritas, or as much info as you're willing, did you find it. I am thinking of going back out to AZ next year if I can afford it.
Thanks Jason

I found her on the eastern side. I searched the area high and low that day for a male to match her up with, but no luck. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go back next year to find one!

Well the good thing about being a locality snob and comeing up short on pairing up your animal is.... another trip!!!! I have the same problem on a Grahm Mnt Male. Its gonna cost me over a grand to pair him up but it will be worth it. I really fell in love with Az and another trip out there will be fun.
You said you where on the east side so does that mean New Mexico?? I went out to the Ritas for one day and it was raining and we found nothing. It was beautiful up there though.

I meant east side of the Santa Rita Mountains...
John
I am thinking of a different range. The one that borders New Mexico, I just can't think of the name and I am in bed already. I will find out tomorrow.

Wow! That's a great little animal. I have hatched out a few with that look but of course they are just "generics" as I have no specific locality data.
Good luck with them and keep posting pics.

I have a couple abberants from the east side of the Ritas. What sex is yours?
Greg

Another from the same locale.

Hello that pattern is fairly common in Cave Creek. Its not really abberant. Congrats, FR
Got any photos? I'd love to see some.
Thanks,
John
