Northwest giant eating garter:

I don't enjoy doing this but since they eat snakes in the wild and just about refused everything else, it had to be done. That's a florida blue hatchling its biting. And I did not have the schedule this time to wait and watch for the venom to effect it.

Is that one of mine? I could only get one of my females to eat snakes, and she would only take 4" brown snakes.

Is the ringneck holding onto the upper jaw? My eastern king grabbed a gopher snake like that the other day, got me worried that the gopher's bottom teeth would cut the king's insides as it was swallowed.

I tried those leafnose snakes and they did not eat. I tried lizards, geckos, corn chips, and nothing worked. I suppose they eat gecko eggs or a specific species of gecko? I should have tried chicken egg yolk? Well next time I see one.....

I've read that the Phyllorhynchus feed almost exclusively on banded geckos and their eggs, but I've spoken with people who have even tried banded geckos to no avail. They're really cute, but then again so are banded geckos.
