Hey all,
Just thought I would share some pics of a boa that got a single sanichip in itsmouth.
This is a customer's boa that was bought the week before as a healthy animal. he called me within a week and said the snake was breathing open mouthed, and had a wheezing sound.
I had him bring it back so I could check it out and this is what we saw. I will post a few more pics...
We opened it's mouth and used tweezers to gently pull out the piece of sanichip. Kinda interesting, it just fit right in there, hope it doesn't happen again.

Here is another pic....chip was stuck just behind the opening of the epiglottis.
