A succesful year

dumje Aug 28, 2005 07:35 PM

Well we had a nice year...we proved out our Yellow Belly Male and produced a few Pastels. Despite a few screw ups and unexpected deaths in the egg...after seeing Ralph Davis loosing a Genetic striped Albino We can't complain.

Our 1st clutch of YB hatched with 1.3 YB and 2.1 Normals

Our 2nd clutch of a Bell Line Pastel hatched with a 2.3 Pstels and 2.1 Normals...these are really nice...I think they are nicer than the father

Our 3rd and final clutch just hatched last week...2 normals died in the egg...another normal hatched with a kink and the only decent survivor was another female YB.

Just had 3 of the babies take there first meal today...I can't wait till next year and I am looking forward to producing an Ivory in 2 years.

thanks to all

too many kinks and deaths were you inbreeding?

does that stuff happen naturally? or is it only in inbred snakes?
