Brumation ????? Question

atcelltech Aug 28, 2005 08:21 PM

My girlfriends and my Pac man frog has been wierd lately. I have to half logs in his aquarium for him to hid under.

Well a couple of days ago the frog (scooter) was out from under hiding and all kinds of active. We were really amazed at how active he was. Then he started kicking up all his "dirt". Then he went under his log again after about 4 hours. We did not think anything about it until the next day when I went to feed him.

I lifted his log and realized that he was completly buried under there. Then it doned on me that he had kicked back all of his dirt to try and cover his logs. It was all kicked to the rear of the aquarium.

Well he is staying completly buried. Is it possible that this is the "brumation" thing.

Thank you.

If his conditions are wrong he might be in hibernation, raise humid. and temp.
