I know it's not a herp, but I think the shot still came out looking good.

I guess this is supposed to exhibit mimicry, in the form or bird poop? I sure wouldn't eat it!

Yep! The white coloring is not quite as shiny as the jade color but together they make the caterpillar look fairly 'wet' like very fresh bird poop.
