Some Ratsnakes can be kept just like Corns, and some would die on the spot if you kept them like corns. Are you talking ALL species of Ratsnakes? Asian, North American, Europe, etc? Or just the North American Rats? If you're meaning just North American Rats, then the obsoleta complex, (Black rat, yellow rat, gray rat, everglades,) pretty much is like keeping corns, with the exception that they grow larger and will need a larger enclosure as an adult. These rats also like/need to climb more then corns. Bairdi Rats can be kept like corns, Trans Pecos are not difficult, but they tend to be more sensitive to humidity, so you have to be a little more careful with them in that area. I'm sure there are some asian rats that can be kept like corns, but I'm not too up on all of the asian species. Russian Rats are very hardy and easy to maintain. Matter of fact, that's on my short list of next Ratsnake to buy. Hope that helps.
