When/How much to feed BABY RES

I have a baby RES alittle over an inch, I've been feeding him and he'll eat and eat should i limit how much, and how many times a day, or all at once? I'm clueless. please help..thank u.

Overfeeding is a serious problem with turtles, they will basically eat as much as you give them.

The rule of thumb is no more than will fit in their heads once per day. You can float some veggies or aquatic plants in the tank the rest of the time and the turtle can nibble if he gets hungry.

When your turtle reaches two inches or so you can back it down to the same amount every other day. My turtles are adults now and only get pellets once a week or so, and fruits and greens the rest of the time. Their diet is primarily vegetarian when they are adults.
