Will-you need to get with Kong and cross her, it would be interesting to see what kind of babies would come out of that mix? IS this one you raised and she just is big? Do you know the location of where she was captuired if she is wild caught? Also the color pattern on her does not seem typical. Excellent!
By the way have you bred her before?

Lou,
She is a captive bred collaris from the same locality as Kong.
I hatched her out a few years ago and sold her to Kyle(former poster on this forum), then bought her back when he wasn't into keeping lizards anymore. I'm sure glad i did because she is awesome. Her captive bred mother was big too. It would be nice for her to meet up with Kong some day. I do have a young female from her that I hatched this year and have kept. I'll try to photo her soon.
Will-now I find this interesting, as Kong is an exceptionally large animal and so is big mamma, I know of diminutive species opf horned lizrds and collard lizards, because of the coloration of this female, and it's characteristics, I wonder if anyone has given thought to the possibility that this could be a special race of collaris such as the SOuth MOuntian Chucks. Still an Ater but different race, it seems that the coloration is what I caught right off the bat , and though I've seen Texas collaris somewhat this color, I haven't seen this much brown and we know what Mr. Kong looks like so just musing, I usnderstand the differences in Color are not as much an issue because of the wide range in colors, but mixed with the size of these animals it makes me wonder. If these are anywhere in Texas I'd love to take a drive out and do some research on these....Cheers!!

I like her. She reminds me of my Peanut
(Obviously, Peanut outgrew her name!)
